Finalist for 2025 NutraIngredients-USA Awards

[Rancho Santa Margarita, CA] – Blue California is proud to announce that its ErgoActive® Ergothioneine Research Program for Healthy Aging & Longevity has been named a finalist for the 2025 NutraIngredients-USA Awards in the Nutrition Research Project category.

This recognition highlights the depth of scientific work behind the ErgoActive® ergothioneine, including material support for preclinical and clinical research, partnerships with multiple top-tier research institutions, and Blue California’s long-standing commitment to advancing science-first innovation in healthspan.

Blue California’s ErgoActive® ingredient was the first bio-based ergothioneine to achieve US FDA GRAS and has been commercially available since 2019. It continues to be studied for its role in cognitive health, mitochondrial function, immune support, and other key areas of healthy aging in both clinical and preclinical studies.

The NutraIngredients-USA Awards are one of the most respected honors in the nutrition and supplements industry, recognizing innovation, research, and excellence across categories.
